Nope, frostbyte is the nicest engine there is now. It's beautiful. Can't wait for this game.

One of two shooters I'm excited about. The other being Far Cry 3.

Did you really enjoy Far Cry 2? Heard a lot of mixed feelings about it.

It's an acquired taste. I just really loved the environment and free roaming. Had a blast just killing QWERTY. The story mode can go to hell and the multiplayer... I don't even wanna talk about that.

I really hope EA doesn't butcher this game with DLC. Just a couple weapons, but I still hate the idea. Early unlock is one thing, but exclusive content?

I'm not used to console gaming anymore, period. Picked up BF3 for PS3 at a friends house. Just couldn't get used to the sensitivity. My aim was so bad :S

lol. I run around with the assault class, equipped with the M416+Holographic sight. In Squad and Team Deathmatch I do a lot of run and gun. Haven't put that much time into the game yet though. I've only got like 12 hours. I think my KD will probably even out at ~1.5.

I would've bought it for PC except that I have to run it at 640x480 and low to get a playable frame rate. :x

That's a fair excuse. Did you beat the campaign? I just realized I haven't done more than one mission lol

I played the campaign, but it wasn't excellent or anything. It was entertaining enough.

One of my friends had the same opinion of it. Flashy, but not a lot of substance.

The multiplayer is fun except for the part where you have to unlock weapon parts per weapon instead of per class like in Bad Company 2. :/
