Hey there,

what i need to know is the following:

- What's the link to the forums considering these problems?

- did you back up before editing your style code? or is this the only mod you installed for dark fantasy?

The forums are at: http://www.uorpc.net/phpBBB/

I have the Advanced BBCode Box 3 turned off at the moment, but I'll turn it back on.

I have backups of the all the files the mod required altered. There is one other mod installed, but it doesn't affect the posting pages.

well,

I'll need a live example of the problem,
the source code of that will eventually give an indication of where the problem could be!

The mod is live on the forum. You only see the issue when you start a new post...

Hello, I was try to add a mod called Global Announcements on Index page but I need to mod the theme to use it. and every time I use the mods for prosilever or subsilver I get errors. right now have it, back to default.
But I wanted to ask can you help out with the mod?

Hello,
Our forum has been using your darkfantasy style for about two years now, and we've been very happy with it. We're planning on moving into a custom theme though, that matches our needs better, but we'd like to retain some elements of DarkFantasy. I'm looking for the floral pattern you used in the header - where can I find a photoshop pattern of that? Thanks!

Andrew

Uhm,

I didn't design the template,
and it was designed almost 4 years ago, so it is likely that Dan deleted the patterns from his pc. I didn't answer any earlier for i couldn't help you out..

do also note that it is possible that he just duplicated a floral brush!

Let me first say that this is an AMAZING theme! I just converted our website (http://www.worldofcaenyr.com) forums to phpBB3 and was looking for a great fantasy theme and this was absolutely perfect. Thank you for sharing your creation!

Now for my questions - We are big on forum avatars on our site. I have set a nice limit in avatar size so the theme doesn't get over-sized (that was the easy part with just an adjustment in my phpBB3 board settings.) The harder part is undersized, which I believe will take an edit to the theme stylesheet but I'm not sure where. The column on the left, when viewing a topic, has three layers: Member name, Member Profile info (including avatar), and the lower section has a "Top" button for returning to the top of the thread. That entire column re-sizes itself in and out depending if the avatar is larger or smaller, so when you read through a topic the margins bounce all over the place and its a bit jarring on the eyes. I would like to set that column to a defined width, so that no matter the avatar size the margin is the same all the way down the topic. Where do I define that and how?

Thanks in advance for any assistance! :)

oh wow, that kyala bar maid is awesome :D

and i'd like to note that i really appreciate it that you tried to fix the problem yourself first :) it seems like a lot of people immediately think it's impossible to alter their themes x)

so let's get started :)

I think the width varies of the column because it isn't defined anywhere

so you could try this:

open the style sheet (theme/stylesheet.css)

search: td.profile

add the following property:
width: ... px;

(where ... px the desired with is)

i'm not sure if it will work, but that's the first thing that I can come up with :)
