Refresh a few times and then (if you're using Phpbb3) enter the administration control panel.
Click the 'Styles' tab and then 'Templates' in the left sidebar. Find GuildWarsAlliance and click 'Refresh".
Do this for 'Themes' and 'Imagesets' as well.

If you find no solution, (if you edited the template's banner in any way) make sure that when you overwrited the banner that it was named 'banner.jpg'.

I did refresh, nothing happened.
I tried uninstalling it and installing it again -- nothing happened
I tried modifying source code -- nothing.
I just want it the way it was before, with the dragon , not just some green background there.
Yes , i am using phpbb3. It's a free forum created on clanforum.us.

Here's what i think that might be wrong:

Code:
a#logo {
   display: block;
   height: 100px;
   width: 758px;
   background: url('.styles/GuildWarsAlliance/theme/imageset/banner.jpg') top no-repeat;
   text-decoration: none;
   text-indent: -4000px;
}

Reinstalling should have fixed it, because the template itself is fine.
Something may have happened in the midst of editing something.

Are you using ftp access?

This is what I get:

a#logo {
display: block;
height: 100px;
width: 758px;
background: url('{T_IMAGESET_PATH}/banner.jpg') top no-repeat;
text-decoration: none;
text-indent: -4000px;
}

Maybe make yours say IMAGESET_PATH

Or, assuming it doesn't work - edit banner.jpg to site_logo.gif (I'm not completely sure..) :thinking:

Hi,

really like this style and it has been selected by our forum members as the design for the forum.

There is only one at least hopefully easy to fix problem.

We want to keep the current banner.jpg across the top of the forum but need to add an additional logo to be placed inside.

I was wondering if this can be achieved without editing the banner.jpg by adding the logo on top of it to the most right position.

If this is not feasible we will update the banner.jpg to achieve it.

Regards
MornigStar

Although it would be possible to absolute position an image on top of the banner, I wouldn't recommend it - you get into the whole problem of making the logo fit well with the banner, including using a png, which would then require hacking for IE6, etc. So, I'd recommend modifying the banner. A bit more hassle, but it'll offer much more control in the end, and isn't at all difficult if you use the PSD. :)

Dear Daniel St. Jules,
thank you very much for your excellent work.
I have checked your design (GuildWarsAllinance ) with PHPBB3. Nice design.
I have changed the banner.jpg also.Its working fine.
Now i wanted to test your design for Flash(.swf) file.I have put the .swf file in the imageset and named it banner.swf, but is it not working.So if you pls let me know where and how to set/use .swf in this style?
1) for header
2. for footer
3. in body

wil be happy to hearing from you.

Thanks again for your nice work.

Mithry: Could you post the url to your forum? I'd like to look into it.

forex2009: I don't quite understand. If you're simply asking what files to modify to include that swf file, it would be overall_header.html for the header, index_body.html for the index/main page, and overall_footer.html for the footer. As for exact code instructions, I couldn't help you, cause I have no idea what you seek to accomplish.

Now i am facing 1 problem.Pls help me to fix it.
How can I set any image in the middle position of the page? which command i should add before image to fit it in the middle position of the page .
example : I have to add an image, size let say: 728X90 . as page width 758 so in the right side there is free place.I wanted to put this 728/90 image in the middle positon of the page for good looking.so that there was same free space in both side( left & right).

Thanks.
