Tom Nook's Store
The raccoon entrepreneur dreams of one day owning a large shop. Nook's Cranny, is at the heart of his dream. You, as one of the players, will have to offer business to the busy raccoon for him to accomplish his goal of owning a superstore. In order for Nook to upgrade his shop, players will have to buy and sell items at his store. Tom has a long way to go, but with your help, his dream is surely within hand's reach.
Nook's stores
In order for Tom to upgrade his store, players will have to provide him business by buying and selling items. After the total of transactions in bells (buying and selling) reaches a set amount and all other conditions have been met, Tom will close the shop for a day in order to do some remodeling. When the store reopens the next day, it will be larger and have an improved selection.

Shipping Service
Want to send an item to a friend but you don't feel like visiting his town? There's one simple solution; Tom Nook's shipping service. If you know the name of your friends character and town and would like to ship an item, talk to Tom Nook, select 'Other things' from the first list of options and then 'Hear Code' form the secondary list. After you've entered all the information and Tom has listed the code for the item, simply tell your friend the code. (you may want to write the code on a piece of paper) In order for a player to receive a shipped item, he or she must talk to Tom, go to 'Other things' and then 'Say Code'. He or she will then be able to enter the code in order to receive the item.
Turnips and more Turnips
Every Sunday morning (6am-noon) , you can buy turnips from Joan, a wandering Boar. Joan sells her turnips in bunches of 10, 50 and 100. The key to the turnip market is to buy low from Joan and sell high to Tom Nook. (that way you can make a small profit) The challenge with the market is that you shouldn't keep a bunch of turnips for over a week or they'll go bad. Although Tom will buy the turnips at various prices depending on the day, he won't buy any turnips on Sunday. If you'd like to find ask what prices Tom Nook is buying the turnips at, talk to Tom Nook, go to 'Other things' from the first list of options and then select 'Turnip Prices'.
Monthly Raffle
At the end of every month, Tom Nook puts on a raffle for all his customers. A character may enter the raffle once for every 5 tickets he or she has accumulated from purchasing items at his store. Because the tickets are different depending on the month, players won't be able to cheat by entering tickets from another month.
Personal Catalog
Every item that you've had in your possession at least once will be listed in your personal catalog. You may use your personal catalog to order any item that's listed except for items that displayed as 'Not for sale'. In order to look at your catalogue, simply ask Tom for assistance and then select 'See my catalog' from the list of options. You will then be able to look through all the items that you've owned at one time or another and place an order for an item. All items that you order will be delivered by mail and will arrive by the next day.
